You closely follow Sylvia, a bit of a step behind as you move in calmly and gently as compared to the nude soon-to-be 3rd grader who simply rushed in out of concern. You quietly come in with your arms spread to also comfort her, but you immediately catch a glare from Sylvia who protectively pulls her equally nude sobbing friend in closer to her in a protective manner while giving you a look so harsh you swear she's trying to literally murder you with her gaze alone.

Considering the history of abuse she described to you earlier at the hands of her own father, you guess it makes some sense for her to default to this kind of suspicious and hostilely protective behavior when her friend is in obvious distress.

• Verbally assure Sylvia you are not going to hurt either of them and proceed on to cuddle and reason with Tatiana

• Ignore Sylvia's behavior and proceed on to envelop the girls in an embrace together. Actions speak louder than words, after all.
