From All The Fallen Stories

You can't help having a frown come to your face as you listen to and watch Mary's reaction. "Ok, I am sure that's not the whole story." You say as you stand and come out from behind your desk. You take a seat a lot closer to the girls and look both of them in the eyes. "I'm not sure what it is, but I can tell it is upsetting you a lot Mary, but, I need to know what's going on." You reach out and begin rubbing her shoulder and look her in her misty eyes for a moment before turning to the other girl in the room. "Diya, do you know what's got her so upset about this? I would appreciate you telling me if you know about it."

"Umm... will you promise to help if we tell you? You don't HAVE to marry both of us! You can just marry her and say you didn't want to marry a prostitute's daughter."

"Diya!" You snap at her. "Just tell me, I will see what I can do once I know what it is."

"I..." Mary speaks up here instead of Diay. "I just don't want to live at home anymore! I want to live with someone who's nice like you! So, if we get married, it means we can live together, right?"

You really don't know how to respond to this. You just pull the sobbing girl into a hug and then look over to Diya again.

"Umm... it's her mother. She's really mean to her and hits her a lot, and... now today she tried to make Mary late on purpose so that you would punish her. That's why... when she wasn't getting to class on time I left before class started because... well... I wanted to have sex anyway, and, then I found her getting in late and so we both came straight here before Mrs. Walton could say anything."

Yeah. You thought it might be something like that. She's trying to set up situations so her daughters will be subjected to your punishments though? There's got to be something you can do about that.

Use the girl's idea of marrying her.

You don't have to go to the extent of marrying them
