You know its wrong. You really do. But you can't help yourself. In a weird way you even understand your brother a little better.

Drawing a deep breath, you carefully walk up to your brother. He snaps his head to the side as you come to a stop.

"WAAHHGHAA!!?!?!" he yelps, pushing himself away from his desk and sending him tumbling backwards in his chair. The plug of his headphones pop out of the sound jack and his speakers loudly blare some sort of dark angry music. You cover your mouth with your hands, both shocked and ridden with guilt that you scared him so badly.

Jacob quickly scurries up off the floor with his thing still hanging out of his pants. He hits the power button on his speakers and slams his laptop closed.

"What the hell Jess?!"

You stare back at your brother, but not at his face. He follows your gaze then realizes he's still 'exposed' and throws his hands to his crotch. Thankfully he pushes and pulls everything back into place in the nick of time.

"Jake! What the hell!?"

You twirl around to see your beautiful sister standing in Jacob's doorway. She points an angry finger at your brother.

"I warned you about blasting your stupid music! I will have mom take your laptop away!"

"What are you yelling for?! It was an accident! And why are you in my room?"

You're not sure who his last comment was directed at but you remain silent.

"I can do what I want you brat! But what's she doing here?"

You look back to see Jacob glance at you warily. "It's her... nevermind."

"What? It's Jess's fault? Whatever, I don't even care. Just be quiet and leave me alone!"

Heather slams the door before you or your brother can respond. The sudden silence is interrupted only when the teenage whirlwind slams her own door shut down the hall. She seems extra bitchy tonight and aggressively defensive. If only she knew what Jacob had been doing she might have really gotten angry.

A few moments pass before Jacob speaks up.

"Uhh... Jess? Wha- ummm..."

You turn around to face your brother. He's blushing, both nervous and embarrassed.

"Did you... see anything?" He pauses. "I mean I know you saw my junk and... yeah, but... what... please, you can't tell anyone," finally blurting it out. Indirectly acknowledging what he was doing seems to give him some amount of relief. But he's not only acknowledging what he was doing, he's also begging you to keep quiet. You've never seen your brother beg like this before. He looks very sincere, pretty desperate and a bit pathetic. This is all clearly a 'life or death' sort of thing for him. You can't even comprehend the amount of trouble he could get into, but you know it would be pretty bad.

So much has happened standing there calmly in front of your brother and you haven't even spoken a word yet.
