Jungle Tribe Lands

The hot, dark jungles that spread south of the Mithril Mountains are home to numerous dangers and horrors. The savage tribes that call it home are mostly isolated and ignorant; having only ever known the wilderness.

Settlements

Though most people live in secluded villages; some tribes have formed large enough gatherings to be political powers. Here is a list of influential tribes:

The Kumbabwei are a river-based people whose squat villages serve as trading outposts for merchants from Misyr.

Military

  • While almost all tribes are landlocked, the rivers of the Jungle Tribe Lands see much use from its warriors. There is a primitive naval tradition in the form of war canoes - flat vessels that skillfully navigate the treacherous waters.
  • The Jungle Tribe armies are effectively a mix-match of tribes thrown together in various hordes:
    • People are always at war. Many organized armies hesitate to push into the Jungle Tribe Lands, because its natives are experts at jungle warfare.
