Generations/Sleep until morning
Your body is weary from running all day, and it is much too dark to continue. Curling up near the river, you drift off into a dreamless sleep.

You awake to the chirping of thrushes, and slowly open your eyes. The landscape is far more vibrant in the morning, lit by cold rays of sunlight filtered through the bushy branches. Frosty morning dew drips from ferns, flowers and saplings; and the flow of the river tinkles silverly in the background.
The night rest has given you a fresh perspective on the situation. While you have broken the shackles of serfdom, you can no longer go back to the farm. Indeed, it will be dangerous just to remain in this area for too long. Word will spread from farm to farm, descriptions of you will be put up and the baron will put a price on your head; knights are often from noble stock, and the relatives will demand bloody justice.
Living in the forest is not an option. While you could possibly find something to breed, there is a sparse abundance of game; and your host body is not fit for surviving harsh conditions. You would be dead in a fortnight. You remember from your avatar's earlier memories that there is a coast a few days travel from here, in the county of Willowood. If you got to one of its harbor cities you could find a ship to take you someplace where you aren't a wanted man, and start anew there. With your athletic body and a fresh identity, the rise to godhood will be made much easier.
But to start off, you need to find a way out of the forest. Up ahead there is a clearing, where you should be able to navigate your way much easier. But as you rise to head over there, your ears suddenly catch a small, almost voiceless giggle coming from a glade to the east.
