God's Compensation/I am tired of the heavy stuff, but I don't want to break the narrative. At least give some exposition to link to where the story transitions into Chapter 1.

After a little bit of a chat with Mr. Austin, he teaches you how to step out of this 3D plane via the fourth dimension. It is a little tough at first, but you discover you are able to take 4D steps on your own, but you are still hampered a little by the fact that your eyes cannot see outside of the 3D plane you are standing on at any given time. Mr. Austin finds this to be a little bit of an issue, and warns that it will be easy for you to get lost if you blindly step onto the fourth dimension and wander too far away from your 3D plane, and warns you not to overuse this power until he manages to find some solution.

After this, he also shows you how his 6D phone can take pictures, and then you can re-wind those pictures to see what the subject of that picture was doing before you got there. He informs you that his eyes are able to simply see people and objects in that manner naturally, and then he helps you swap out the SIM card from your phone and put it in a 6D phone then gives it to you stating it will help you until you can figure a way to see things in 6D naturally.

He also teaches you some of the basics of time-travel for your own actions, and assures you that the universe will correct for any errors that might occur. There is usually the danger with time-travel that you might erase yourself from existence, but you have already been erased from existence in a way and so you ought to be safe from that. As you are now, you will have a hard time changing your age, witch he does say is something you should be able to do with enough work and practice. For now though, you ought to be able to travel through time as you are without much trouble.

The most shocking thing he tells you though is that you should have access to some powers above and beyond the things he can do. They are on the level of things that can supposedly be done by “psychics.” He says you will not be able to move things with your mind or read other people's thoughts, but you will be able to read other people's emotions and slightly influence their perception. He says that in their world, people with these powers are actually called “gods,” and that yes indeed they took the term from 3D beings that insisted on worshiping them in the past. For your purposes however, your mind powers are really not all that impressive. You will not be able to bend people to your will, it will just make navigating a conversation a little easier assuming you use the skill right. Really, your time-travel and 4D powers are a LOT more impressive than the abilities actually deemed “god powers.”

After he explains all of this, he tells you that the phone he gave you will also contain an explanation of how all of this stuff works witch you can reference if you ever forget. He gets you set up in a dorm room that is pretty sparsely decorated, it does not contain any of your stuff and you are told you will just have to give it up as lost. It literally no longer exists. He also gives you an assortment of preserved food, and teaches you how to use time manipulation to infinitely multiply the small supply he gave you. With that, he tells you he will be in touch and that you will have to blaze your own trails in terms of establishing a new life for yourself.
