It's been an uneventful first day on the road as free children. It feels nice to be out in the sun again with the wind in my hair. We're headed towards Falkreath so I can check in with the Dark Brotherhood. I didn't expect to have a 2 month long break after my first big contract, so I hope they won't be too mad that I've been gone so long. I'm hoping I can maybe start a new contract, I guess I'll find out when I get there.

While we were traveling, I got to learn a little more about Zodnick today. He used to live with his uncle who was a merchant. They would travel around together and supplied lots of stores in Skyrim with unique items and rare weapons. But one day they were ambushed on the road by bandits. They killed his uncle and took him hostage. Then they brought him to Markarth were he was sold to the brothel.

He said that was over a year ago and he'd been forced to work there and serve clients ever since. I feel really bad for him, but I guess my story isn't that much different.
