Keeping Mom on the Wagon

Hello and welcome to this thing I'm writing for the express purpose of getting it out of my system!

This is mostly just a particular scenario that's been tickling my brain for a while that I'd like to write out. To that end, I'm making this a WIP until I get everything I want out, after which point I'll open it up for editing with just a few rules to help keep the tone of the story more or less consistent.

First, here's descriptions of our two main characters - Katelyn Jessup, and her son, Michael Jessup.
