You take a peek back at the girls' health profiles to see if that has affected anything, and it looks like the effects really were quite profound. Now, Danica and Ellie both read as "underweight" and "inadequate nutrition." But, looking at their other health indicators, their lack of proper nutrition is within the normal levels of most western children. It seems to be more a product of normal western food trends rather than any outright failings on their mother's part. They still look rather skinny, but it seems they are well out of anything that can be considered a danger zone.
