Life of a 13 year old- Ask her if it's okay that you take a detour and drop off the groceries at your house first

"Is it okay if I drop these groceries at home first?', you ask hopefully. You just remember that you bought a tub of ice cream and you really don't want the ice cream to melt.

"Whatever....", she says half listening to what you said. Perfect. You take the next turn back into your neighborhood and before you even know it you're home.

"Come on in...uh...what's your name sweetheart?"

"Lauren", she mutters.

You pack up the rest of the groceries in the fridge and go back to the car wondering where Lauren was. She still sits in the back seat of your car intently playing her game.
