Life of a 13 year old- Say you want to check out the local market

Together, you browse through the local market offerings. Your dad happily buys you a churo for being such a nice little boy. Out of the corner of your eye, you see a small, brightly colored bird in a cage. You stumble over and start watching the small feathered animal in awe. You turn around and ask your father if you could have one, only to find out your lost!
