The Order of the Moon is the religious order dedicated to protecting the church from outside influence and intrigue. This order deals with all the things that must be done in the shadows. The members of this order are scouts, spies, assassin's, etc. Its ranks consists of Scouts, Pathfinders, Rangers and Emissaries.

Religious Herarchy

Scouts: Scouts are the bread and butter of the Order. It is the starting rank in the Order. Their duties consist primarily of scouting ranges, running messages and all the little things required to keep a shadow network running. Secondary to that are their studies for progression within the Order.

Pathfindres: Pathfinders are responsible for the protection of a particular Church, Convent or other religons structure. They scout their area of assignment, reporting to both the leader of the area and to their superiors. They are also responsible for guarding the area and it's populace along side members of the Order of the Shield, during times of need.

Lamptons currently has one Pathfinder and several Scouts assigned to it's church, while Larange currently has three Pathfinders and nine Scouts assigned to various religons buildings.

Ranger: Rangers are responsible for the protection of all religious organizations in a given area. They can hold sway over multiple locations and in some cases multiple cities. They are also responsible for guarding the area and it's populace along side members of the Order of the Shield, during times of need. It is not uncommon for multiple Rangers to be assigned to an area of importance.

Lamptons and Larange are oversean by two Rangers, one responsible for Larange and Lamptons themselves and a second responsible for the outskirts.

Emissaries: Emissaries act as ambassadors over a large area, or to a specific group or race. They are the eyes and ears and if need be the mouth of the church in regards to interactions with organizations outside the churches influence.

The entirety of the outskirts to include Lamptons and Larange is under the authority of one Emissary. Though on occasion other Emissaries have been sent to handle individual negotiations with a specific race or Religion.

There is one Emissary who is considered the head of The Order of the Moon. This is an appointed position by the Patriarch/Matriarch and is a lifetime appointment.
