Order of the Rose
The Order of the Rose is the religious order dedicated to healing, warding, nature and animal husbandry, they are also the Order primarily responsible for combating the Undead. It consists of Herbalists, Experts, Healers and Grand Healers.
Religious Herarchy
Herbalists: Herbalists is the starting rank in the Order, and are responsible for collecting ingredients, maintaining gardens, brewing potions, checking wards and all duties required for the daily care and maintenance of the order. Secondary to that are their studies for progression within the Order.
Experts: Experts are responsible for a specific area be it a Church, Convent, Shrine, Garden, Pasture, Crossroads or any other area deemed important by the church. They are also responsible for creating and setting defensive wards and detection spells, guiding the masses in the proper care and feeding of domesticated animals, proper hunting techniques used to ensure the balance of nature is maintained and proper crop, rotation. The expert is also the first called up to deal with undead threats.
Lamptons currently has one Expert assigned to it's church, while Larange currently has two who maintain the cities parks and gardens and three who are responsible for it's protective wards.
Healers: Healers are responsible for overseeing all Herbalists and Experts under their care and all church related healing. Healers are called upon to deal with major undead threats. Unlike other orders, it is often common for multiple Healers to be assigned to an area, with a Master healer overseeing them.
The entirety of the Outskirts is overseen by five Healers and one Master Healer.
Grand Healer: Grand Healers oversea the governance of an area controled by multiple Master Healers, they are also responsible for all exorcisms weather the source is fendish, infernal, or from some other obscure source.
The entirety of the outskirts to include Lamptons and Larange is under the authority of one Grand Healer.
There is one Grand Healer who is considered the head of The Order of the Sun. This is an appointed position by the Patriarch/Matriarch and is a lifetime appointment. Currently the head of the Order of the sun is a Patron
