The girl, Milly, has missed a couple of days at school and you spoke to her mother yesterday and arranged an appointment to see the whole family. The house is in a pretty desirable part of town, not far from where you live in fact. It stands on its own, surrounded by well-kept gardens and you have to use the intercom on the front gates to be admitted. You park by the front doors and before you get out, you check yourself in the mirror and give your shoes a quick dust, before getting out.
Milly's mother lets you in and you join her on the patio at the back of the house. A young woman brings tea on a tray.
