Due to the need for young boys to be left relatively free of harassment by young girls, public and official policy on sex education now seeks to educate girls on the need for respecting boys and giving them their space, not pestering them into giving her babies if he doesn't want to, while keeping the girls as sexually ignorant as is feasible until age 16 when it is judged the girls should have the ability to exercise greater levels of self-control. There are, however, many cultural stand-outs and variations in how this policy is generally handled and how successful society really is in keeping this information from young girls.

Official policy for girls' sex-ed

Although official policy is for the school systems and official government bodies not to teach girls about sexual intercourse in particular until age 16, there are several realities of children and their development that makes it impossible to keep them fully ignorant on the subject. Children will still learn from each other or from their parents at home, although it is largely discouraged. Therefore, while the school system will not instruct girls on how the delivery of sperm to the uterus and how that delivery is carried out is the mechanism for making babies, there is still a rather rigorous sex-ed program focused on giving boys their personal space and not harassing them for babies.

  • In pre-school, kindergarten, 1st and 2nd grade, young girls will be taught repeatedly not to remove their clothes around boys unless the boy is comfortable about it and removes his clothing first or he is the one to remove her clothing.
    • Although many girls are aware that boys have to do something to give girls babies, nothing about pestering boys for babies will be mentioned unless one of the girls in the class brings it up first.
    • If a student brings it up, then the teacher will caution the class sternly not to pester boys for babies because it is the boys' choice whether or not to give a girl babies and if he says 'no' then she must respect that.
  • There is a special girls' section of the school for girls experiencing heat where they can be kept away from the boys. This is for the protection of the boys and girls alike. In addition to keeping the boys from being harassed, it also prevents the girls from getting pregnant during a period where their rationality is impaired by their hormones.
    • Some larger schools also have a special section for female rodents and lagomorphs who are in a constant state of heat, and thus are able to gain a greater degree of control over themselves in that state. Unlike the girls section, boys are only discouraged from entering the female rodent and lagomorph section rather than being outright banned as there is some level of security that the girls are less likely to mob the boys and the boys who enter this section are more likely to be looking for sex. However, consent by both parties is still important and all male-female interactions will be observed closely in this section.
      • Rodent and lagomorph girls are something of an exception to many rules, and learn about sex on a time-table that is closer to how it was before the bottle-neck in the population.
  • Girls experiencing heat while in the girls' section are taught that this is a part of growing up and their bodies are releasing a scent that bothers boys and that's why they have to be kept away. They will let the girls talk among themselves on the subject of the specifics behind this scent and the changes happening to them, but it is fairly widely known by most girls that heat means their body is ready to have a baby.
    • Girls mentioning things that include sexually accurate information about what's happening will result in the teacher being allowed to make a pointed lecture discouraging pestering boys for sex.
  • Sex-ed, including copulation and fertilization, is taught in the Junior year of highschool, at which point the girls will be considered responsible enough to behave themselves sexually around boys. The majority will be aware of the basics by this point anyway, but this will formalize the lessons, add in the academically accurate information on the subject, and tie it all together with the lessons they've received all their life about not bothering boys for sex.
