You don't want to risk breaking one of the Creator's rules by negating the fact that a lot of pregnant women have already gotten double pregnant because of your last change. You decide that it is safest to make the ladies only get pregnant from 24 hours worth of insemination. That leaves a lot of room for some major multi-births. You focus your godly powers and say:

"Human females can only be pregnant with the children conceived in a single day at one time."

Thunder cracks, echoing through the valley once more . . . maybe you should make a rule about the thunder? But then again, that might go against the Creator's wishes.

Barry and Jill both jump a bit at the thunder.

"This is so wierd," says Jill. "The sky is clear as anything."

"Yeah, it's pretty wierd," replies Barry, "but I'm kinda getting used to it. We should get ready for school or we'll miss the bus."

"Ugh," says Jill, "don't remind me. I feel like such a loser taking the bus to high school."
