I know we're already stretching what a 5 yo would do (go to the pool alone, read about exhibitionism in the first place, etc), but no kid goes to the pool to sunbathe. They want to get in the water lol Maybe after she wears herself out playing, she could lay down in the sun. A better option would be someone noticing that she didn't use sunscreen and insist on putting some on her (male or female, knowing she's a girl or not). I agree it be fun if she fell asleep, probably not this time but after some time playing so people have time noticing shes a girl. I do like the sunscreen option so i will add that as a scenrio for sunbathing. Yeh 5yo going out alone would be rare in most cases but shes pretty free and her parents dont mind. As for what shes wearing yes in the boy shorts option she did undress and only put on the "too short" shorts, they are technicly unisex cuz they just shirts tho someone knowing fashion would prolly be able to tell they made for girls.
