Yeah, things like that take practice. Tense scenes with angry characters are important for world setting though. If you know what makes characters angry, it shows where the limits of society are in your world. The things someone gets angry about are incredibly telling. It's something you get better at as you get more experience writing. But then, there are also people who are just good at it from the start. The world's not fair sometimes.
