Well, I'm not planning on having Will be submissive, if that's what your concerned about after reading that "weak willed boy" line. (The whole Incubus soul thing will have replaced that part of his personality. It's just that the weak will made him easier to have his soul over-written.) Figured I'd ask, is the story going to use the Latin meaning of Inccubis, or the modern definition?
The modern definition, is that Inccubi are male... Latin is a bit different
In + Cubāre (above + to lie) incubate
Sub + Cubāre (beneath + to lie)
Con + Cubāre (alongside + to lie + "gender") Concubino/a
Basically, if we use the Latin sense, an Inccubis will always be dominant, while a Succubus would always be submissive; regardless of their perceived gender/sex.
