Oops - I hope I didn't mess anything up. I'll back off for now. If you would like me to keep correcting grammar etc after you create the rough story, let me know. I would be happy to do it.

You are good. That was an old Post. If it doesn't have WIP, I'm done with it and you are free to edit it for grammar etc.

Thank you but please don't make edits while I have WIP listed, I just lost two major edits because someone else made a minor one

Pro-tip. You can actually catch when someone ninja edited you and you are about to loose your edit, and if you catch it doing this then you can save your big edit. The way you catch it is if you try to post your edit and, instead of taking you to the page, it throws you right back into the editing page except with your recent edits removed.

Now, the way to save your content when you see this happen is to simply use the "back page" button (the back arrow button, usually in the upper left in windows browsers.) You go back a page, and then you can rescue your edit by simply highlighting and copying it. Then, you hit the "back" button one more time in order to get completely out of the page edit screen, refresh the page, hit "edit" again, then paste what you just copied out of the page that was messed up due to someone else's ninja edit. (I actually used this exact trick several times while we were both working on the "points" page at the same time.) Jemini (talk) 22:38, 9 March 2020 (CET)

Yeah, thanks that's what I usually do unfortunately in both these incidents I had done an extensive rework of the entire page, grammar and spelling fixed. Changing past tense to present etc, on top of the added stuff. It's how I usually work. Write, go back over what I write, edit add, rinse repeat. If I wasn't on my phone I would just write it all in word then post, bit I can't get ant writing programs to work correctly on my phone, so I'm stuck with, write, save, come back fix and add... Sadly Computer is dead and no funds way to replace. That was why I put the WIP. Telgar (talk) 15:35, 9 March 2020 (PST)
