I had written a long wall of text and submitted it but ran into a 502 error...
With my knowledge of (non HP) possession, the longer the souls remain in the same vessel, the more intertwined they become, making it near impossible to distinguish the two let alone separate them.
Hearing Emily's internal pleas, Voldemort can take control:

After further thought, it would be VERY beneficial to have the statue on our side. Can she be relocated? If so, Voldemort may have plans to take revenge on the bitch that killed Bellatrix (Molly Weasley), by having the statue take the form of Voldemort and breaking her daughter. - I enjoyed writing that scene much more than the rape scene last night. I had to retcon the rape scene to be a dead end, as although it made sense, I don’t think Emily could have just carried on as though nothing had happened after that, so I made it a dead end choice.
- I did wonder about havung the statue forms with a more life-like role play scene, but if the statue was too good, Emily wouldn’t have the need for a real lover. Instead, I made it look life like, but somehow a little vacant in the eyes. It has the memories of all of the covens sexual adventures, but it’s not a person. It also can’t generate sexual energy like a living being can, it’s essentially a kind of sex robot and defender for the coven.
- It will be very useful for Emily. Another reason why the rape scene where she destroys it won’t be compatible with her adding it to her Extended Luggage Suite.
