The downside you notice is that the guard has one hand over his holster's pouch, which probably means he has a bullet with your name on it or has tons of volts ready for you. This means if you go through with this, the odds of you ever making it are 50/50. Let's hope if the combat training the army taught you are as good as you make it to be. Of course you escaped in much worse situations than this.
