You take one deep and nervous breath, because you fear he's not going to believe you no matter what you tell him. "He told me that he came as a messenger in Chad's stead. Something has happened to him, which is preventing him from coming here."

"Oh, really now?" Robert asks and sits back down, dragging the chair closer to you. "And you just blindly believed him?" You nod slowly. "What made you believe him so blindly?"

"He… He had a letter from Chad, which told me to follow his orders no matter what, and he also knew some secrets about me, that only me and Chad should know…"

"Where is this letter now?"

You realize that you had given the letter back to Leon. Of course, you didn't anticipate this happening, but it could've been a good idea to hold on to it. You also regret not telling Leon to show the letter to guards should you be caught. "The letter is currently with Leon."

"Oh, that's bullshit! You're making shit up, Hanna!"

"I swear, I'm not lying!"

"Then, tell me about those secrets."

No, absolutely not. If you tell him you're a princess, he's definitely not going to believe you. He's sure to punish you relentlessly. "Chad is the only one who should know the identity of my late parents from Nova Albion…" you finally say. Robert doesn't say anything in reply. You hope and pray he doesn't push this topic further.

He looks very suspicious, having heard the full story. "You're lying right now, aren't you?"
