You head back towards the adventurer's guild. You have to meet Raven again to get you registered. You don't know what this process with consist of, but you're quite excited because you know that all adventurers have those fancy magical cards which hold information about them, their level and their stats. It honestly feels like straight out of a video game to you. You used to love games in your past life.

Raven seems excited to see you two again, but not overly so this time. "Welcome back! What brings you here so soon? Contents of the letter perhaps?"

"Actually, I'm here to register Anna as an adventurer", Leon says.

"Oh, so your name is Anna?" Raven asks and turns towards you. "But Leon, she's way too young to be an adventurer, don't you think?"

"Despite what you might think, I'm legal", you say and present to her your ID, which shows your real name, age and status as a slave, along with the slave ID which is used to track the ownership and history of owners of any particular slave.

"Wait, this says Hanna… Not Anna…"

"Ah, that's a work in progress", Leon explains. "Long story short, she needs an alias. You should know why."

"Oh, it's because Chad fears she's being targeted? That's not a problem then. She can register under an alias. It's quite common for adventurers after all. But what about her ownership?"

"Chad transferred it to me. I have the legal papers with me."

"Alright. Let me go through them really quick. Both of you, give me your ID's as well." You both do as she tells you, and then she starts looking into them. After a minute of reading the papers through in silence, Raven finally hands you back everything. "Clear as a whistle. Let's get her evaluation done next." You walk behind the counter and enter the evaluation room. "In any case, I never thought you would be into little children", Raven says and bursts out laughing in tears. "You, Leon? Seriously?"

"Come on Raven, she's my slave because of special circumstances, not because I want her to be…"

"Oh, really now?" Raven asks and leans closer towards Leon. With a very suspicious look on her eyes, she inspects every little facial expression Leon makes. "I always found it suspicious why you're not fond of my glorious breasts. You're a damned pedophile."

"Are you getting jealous?" you ask and giggle. "You're just mad because he thinks I'm way cuter than you!"

Raven crosses her arms and presses her breasts upward, looking at you and your smug face. She looks a little annoyed by what you just said. "Oh, you brat. I think you're the jealous one here. You're jealous of my juicy figure."

"Ohohoho, don't make me laugh. Nothing can compare to a charm of a little girl." You both gaze at each other with very similar, angry look on your face.

"Stop fighting over me…" Leon says and tries to laugh it off.

"In any case, I just can't believe you find this little brat to be more attractive than me", Raven says and sighs deeply. "I feel insulted as a woman…"

"Like I said, it's not like that!" Leon yells nervously.

"Well, I'm glad to take this loss", Raven says, ignoring Leon's words completely. "I'm not actually against kiddy lovers. And it's not like he's taking advantage of you or anything. He's a good man. Besides, you're actually quite a charming little girl despite your attitude."

"Why thank you!" you state loud and proud.

"We've wasted enough time. Let's set up the scales of evaluation", says Raven. "So, Anna. You've got no experience as an adventurer, am I right?" You nod. "Are you trained in any occupations?"

"I'm primarily an alchemist, and a practitioner of divine calligraphy. I can't fight myself. That's why I'm hoping to join Leon on his adventures and help him out."

"Well, that all comes down to how you scale. Leon is quite a genius, believe it or not." Leon seems to be very humble about Raven's kind words. Then again, he's not denying it either. You've seen it first hand as well. He really is talented for his age.

Then, scales are set. Golden in color, decorated with complex, painstakingly ornate magical circles and power crystals to do the heavy lifting, scales look like a treasure befitting of a king. You're not sure where to even start with it, or how it works. You inquire her about it with nothing but a confused look on your face.

"Oh, you don't know how to use it? Have you never been evaluated in any way?"

You shake your head. "I'm not even sure what this thing does."

"Let me start from the beginning then. You should know about magical power, or in other words, mana, and how every living being has it. And to every single being alive, this mana is different. They're like fingerprints in that sense. All patterns are unique, and they are also everchanging. Every time you change, learn some new way to utilize your magical powers and become more powerful, your mana changes a little bit. These scales can take your mana and break it down to very simple to read components. By channeling your magical powers through these scales, they will for a brief moment project information about you for all of us to read. Why don't you show her how they work, Leon?"

Leon nods and puts both of his hands on the opposing sides of the scale. He doesn't touch them, but he starts channeling his magical powers towards his hands. The scales begin to react. They begin to tip a little bit, back and forth, until they begin to even out and stabilize, eventually stopping in place. Every crystal and every magical circle on its surface begin to shine and resonate. A star chart of some sort appears on top of the scale, presumably evaluating all his abilities in each category. You can't read it yourself, but both Leon and Raven can.

"Oh, you haven't gotten any stronger since last time we did this", Raven says. "Have you been slacking off?"

"Quite the opposite. I've had so much work I haven't been able to train properly. Now's your turn, Anna."

You got the gist of it just by looking and observing. You're supposed to concentrate your magical powers into it, a feat that turns out to be a little bit harder than you anticipated. Scales react violently at first, but stabilize very quickly. Once you get a hang of it, it's not hard at all anymore. Despite being weak, you can handle precise spellcasting because your occupations demand it from you. Your own star chart appears on top of the scale, replacing Leon's chart. It doesn't look much different to you because, like once again, you can't read it. You took at your two judges, who don't seem to be too impressed, at least immediately. After all, you're weak and you know it. There seems to be something about your charts that make Raven's eyebrows rise up in surprise though.

"My word. This must be one of the most imbalanced charts I've ever seen. Your endurance and strength are pathetic, but your intelligence, knowledge and magical ability are astonishingly high!" Raven can't even believe what she's seeing. "Your power and mana are below average to be honest, but your occupations don't demand much of them in the first place, so it's understandable they haven't matured properly along with rest of your magical powers."

"Erm, where do I rank in those categories?"

"Just a little over twenty", says Leon. "That's real genius level."

You've heard of stats, although you never before knew what they were based on. Twenty-five is the highest stat that can be measured by scales, and basically only one in a ten thousand can reach that high in their lifetime. Five is about average. Reaching ten in any given field means you've gained mastery over it. Twenty is just absurd. You, who has never actually had your stats properly measured, always knew you would rank high, but didn't know it would be this high.

"And at such a young age too", Raven says, nodding to herself deep in thought. "You're only fifteen, and tiny to the boot. I've got no choice but to believe what I see. Let's see… This puts your overall level at twelve."

"That's one level higher than me", Leon says. "I wasn't expecting this."

"Yeah, and three levels behind me", Raven says. "Wow, Leon. You've found yourself quite a partner. Good fucking job! Take good care of her!"

"Yes, I feel lucky to have her in my life", Leon admits aloud and laughs.

"Well, despite your level, your rank will be low, since you're inexperienced", Raven explains. "Your rank will be still linked to his on joint quests when working as a duo, so you can accept the same quests as him. If you ever want to do quests on your own, you can only do the lowest rank quests."

"Should I even do quests on my own?" you ask, turning towards Leon.

"Well, maybe not right away, but once in a while should be fine. Sometimes there are no other jobs available, after all."

"It's going to take few days for me to process this information and get you an official adventurer's card. Let's get all the work out of the way so I can let you go to have fun or whatever." Then, Raven offers you her arm. You decide to shake it right away. "I'm glad to have you on board, Anna."

"Anna Rockwell at your service!"

"Right! And now that I'm going to be your boss, please make sure to show respect to your elders."

You decide not to give her a direct answer. Instead you just grin at her and tighten your grip. As she does the same thing, you give up instantly as a jolt of pain runs through your palm.

And so, the next chapter in your eventful life begins. From a princess who discovered and got fascinated by the joy of pleasure at young age to an orphan turned sexslave, left homeless as her home country got wiped off the map, all the way to becoming an adventurer alongside your new young master, it has been a rocky road to say at very least. You're excited about what your life is going to bring along with it.

Immediately after getting registered as an adventurer, you begun your physical transformation from Hanna to Anna. In the end, you are and always will be the same person, but a little makeover was really refreshing after having looked exactly the same for little over seven years. You turned your eyes blue with the help of contact lenses, and you dyed your hair to a slightly darker shade of blonde, with a golden, brownish hue to it. While anyone from your past life would probably recognize you, no-one else probably wouldn't suspect you of being an Albionian blueblood.

Your wardrobe gets a massive upgrade as well, consisting of both casual clothes for your days off, as well as couple of outfits suited for adventure. You strongly bias bright colors, but Leon wants to buy something extra special to you as well in a frilly, black gothic Lolita dress, one that he's excited about seeing you wear. It's a little kink he's got; he's into gothic clothing and maids, which you find ironic, as it directly contradicts his displeasure at you calling him master. Maybe he secretly likes it after all. Who knows? As far as actual equipment goes, you don't need weapons or armor, so you end up saving a big penny. He ends up buying you a specialized alchemists satchel along with a belt with space for potions and elixirs. It's not by any means cute, but you can handle wearing it while working. He also buys you two specialized gloves with so-called universal magical circuits drawn onto them - especially designed for alchemy - to help up with channeling spells and even skip drawing magical circles in some cases. After all spells require elaborate and precise conduits to work. Putting all the things together, the price tag ends up draining most of Leon's savings, but that's okay, because with you helping him, he can make it back in no time. He sees your equipment as an investment that will pay itself back sooner or later.

Going forward, you will wait for further orders and information from Chad Mason, who has gone into hiding, with his whereabouts are still unknown to you. It may take a week, or few months, but you're sure he will contact you again. Meanwhile, you will be doing quests both alone and together with Leon.

Now, two weeks have passed since your registration, and you're happy with your new life as an adventurer. You've done a weeks' worth of quests already with Leon, and while you're starting to get familiar with your job, it's still going to take some time to get used to living in a big city.

You're also sure to have a lot of fun on the side as well and create memories, as you already have. After all, you've never been freer in your entire life than you have been in these few weeks this early summer. And it's going to be a long, long summer.
