"Time to get up everyone!"

You moaned as your mom's voice went through the house, waking you from your sleep. You pull your blankets over your head to try and block her noise but suddenly it got pulled away.

"Get up, Zach. You don't want to be late for your first day of school do you," your mom said and you pouted at her. She smiled back and went off to wake up your sisters, leaving you to get ready.

With a sigh, you got up, went downstairs to the kitchen and sat at the table. Soon you were joined by your older sisters, Jane and Emma, each one taking a seat on either side of you.

Jane was wearing that weird white PJs again that barely covered her privates parts and made you feel weird whenever you looked at her. Her blond hair was a mess and her brown eyes showed that she wanted more sleep.

Emma was different though and looked like she was ready for anything, a bright smile on her face as she fixed her hair at the table. Her PJs was just a large shirt that she buttoned all the way to the top.

"So Zach, are you ready for the first day of school," Emma asked and you shook your head.

"Summer was way too short." You replied and heard Jane mumbled something, probably agreeing with you.

Emma rolled her eyes. "Come on, school ain't that bad. You two need to look at the positives."

Jane spoke up. "I'm positive that school will suck again." You let out a laugh at that.

Soon your mom came into the kitchen but when she saw your sisters, she glared at Jane. "Jane, what did I say about wearing those kinds of clothing around your little brother?"

"Come on mom, he's ten so its not like he knows what they're for," Your sister said back. "Besides its not my fault that its so comfy to sleep in."

"Still, I don't like it so go up and change."

"Aw come on! I'm already at the table so I might as well as eat in them."

You knew what was going to happen next. Your sister and mom was going to argue for a while and you were way too tired and hungry to deal with it so you blurt out. "She can eat in them mom. I really don't mind it."

And you really don't. For some reason, Jane just looked...good in them and you couldn't figure out way.

Your mom stopped in mid argument and looked at you. "Well okay then, if you say so." She went to get the food from the counter, making you blink in surprise.

That was weird, she never gives up against Jane like that, even other times when you agreed with your sister.

Your surprise was gone when the hot plate of eggs, toast, and bacon was put in front of you and you ate them as slow as you could, trying to avoid going to school.

"Zach, stop eating like that. I have work and I can't drop any of you at school if you miss the bus," Your mom scolded you.

You groaned through a mouthful of bacon and swallowed before saying, "But I wanna stay home, just one more day please mom?"

Your mom sighed before smiling. "Alright fine but just one more day."

...What?

You stared at your mom in complete surprise and shock, wondering if you heard her right.
