You have been given Contributor Status. Please consult the Format Rules to learn how to format content for the story wiki. Thanks, and welcome to the site. --Elerneron (talk) 05:42, 4 October 2022 (CEST)

Nowiki tags stop code from executing. We use it to demonstrate what to type to get an effect without the effect happening. You should have left the nowiki tags off of your signature. HTML isn't as hard as it seems. There are plenty of resources out there to learn with, and the site itself requires little to no HTML. There is some Wikimedia formatting required to keep the stories separate, but that is covered in the Format Rules so be sure to read and understand them. If you need any help, feel free to ask on My Talk Page. It's alway good to get new contributors to the site. Welcome. --Elerneron (talk) 05:42, 4 October 2022 (CEST)

Did you read the -->Format Rules<-- That's a link. The instructions are rather straightforward. The simple section isn't terribly complicated, and that all that is absolutely necessary to contribute to the site. --Elerneron (talk) 16:08, 5 October 2022 (CEST)

Indeed I read it, thanks. If you'd be so kind, try: "Hey Pervy Old Lady, cut and paste here." Also another way I'm sort of ignorant to this, are we doing all interactive stories here? So confused. I used to know of the atf as Chris Hailey's great writing and all that. I've never written anything for that purpose. Mine are all narratives heavy on the taboos.

First, on the wiki it is best to answer someone's message on your talk page on their talk page. This gives them an alert that they have a new message. Otherwise they just have to notice that you edited your own talk page. It is also best to sign your message by using four tilde (~) symbols in a row. (There is also a button on the user interface when editing talk pages to put your signature in, between italics and link.)

Now that is out of the way: Some stories are interactive, some stories are traditional. Which story is which should be listed on their story code section of their index page entry. If you follow the instructions on the Format Rules you should be able to have a story up and formatted correctly in no time. --Elerneron (talk) 06:34, 8 October 2022 (CEST)
