From All The Fallen Stories

The request in bold (Request) is the generally accepted way for readers to indicate "hey, that looks like an interesting path, can you work on that one next?". Not every writer accepts it, and if you don't like it, you can just say so and I'll stop (though you might want to post a note at the front so other readers know not to). In fact, I do it for so many stories, I'm going to have to go back through the recent changes page to find which story you're talking about! lol --Notsooldpervert (talk) 21:04, 30 December 2020 (UTC)

Ah, right! Bored little girl! The cop would chase them off, and the mobster might kidnap her (or beat the teen up), the blind man would be humorous, but the last guy who's just passing through might be a closet pedo who wants a turn lol (maybe even a friend of her dad's who insists on a turn for not telling on her lol) --Notsooldpervert (talk) 21:07, 30 December 2020 (UTC)

Yes i just thought damn annoying cop! Come to ruin all the fun in life. A buzzing fly comes to mind and i wanted to swat the little bugger. Anyways if you notice there is still a way for the two to get caught cause i had stated the cop was chasing the mobster so who knows maybe with the mobster option the mobster would fine the two as soon as the cop does or maybe the mobster decide to have a taste and all three got busted still lots of options that could involve him. Perhaps since he left maybe he's found the mobster hiding mg the bushes very close by and catches the two in the process.

That's the beauty of interactive stories you more or less limited to your imaginations. --Icy.horse (talk) 12:12, 13 January 2021 (UTC)

It sorta helps the whole interactive thing when you give your readers odd stuff the makes then say to themselves "huh, wait did that just happen" or "what the hell is that cop doing there?" it builds suspense then just when they feel like the whole story is about to end lusting/wanting for more then you proceed giving them a sigh of relief / assurance that there's more so they tend continue to read on in anticipation. Metaphorically speaking you feed the the stray cat and they almost always come back for more. --Icy.horse (talk) 08:52, 14 January 2021 (UTC)

Dont know if you're a guy or gal but that is neither here nor there. Anyway i'm terribly sorry i have to add a bit of humor to the last set of options hu just came to mind and you'll crack up. But dont worry your two options are yours to run with i just feel like maybe the boy might want more so.... Read my add-on option in a bit.. OMG i an going to fall over laughing! --Icy.horse (talk) 15:06, 14 January 2021 (UTC)

Well I would say yes remove it if the request was fulfilled as long as the permissions are open. I agree it don't make it look cleaner around here..

Sure, you can add onto it if you want. What branch are you interested in? --illumipony (talk) 20:16, 5 August 2021 (PST)

Normally when you move a page it leaves a redirect, so that any pages with the old link still lead to the new page. This is sloppy. The best thing to do is to make sure all of the links are changed, then you don't need a redirect. One of the things I trust you (and everyone else to whom I give trusted status) is to change your links before you move a page (or shortly after--but I don't recommend it). Therefore you can move the page and select the option not to make a redirect page, thus avoiding the necessity for me to fix the links and/or delete the unused redirects in the little time I get to clean house (which is very overdue). --Elerneron (talk) 21:32, 6 August 2021 (UTC)

Giving you trusted contributor means that I trust that you know how to use the site properly, and are most likely not going to cause mischief. I don't want you to feel like you have to do my work for me. That said if you want to help, I am always behind. If you check out the Special Pages Page the Maintenance reports section (which I'm not even shows up for everyone) has pages that may need addressed. Some particularly arduous tasks that I'm backed up on are cleaning up redirects (fixing the links and deleting the redirect page afterward), and making sure every story page and file has a category, and every category page also has a category. But, like I said, that is my job, not yours. Help if you'd like, but you are in no way obligated to do so. --Elerneron (talk) 21:18, 8 August 2021 (UTC)

If you want to help, most of the pages under the Double Redirects page can be safely deleted, especially the "Sisterly Trio" vandalism redirects. UlithiumDragon has already fixed and properly relocated his story's pages. --MrPib (talk) 06:47, 9 August 2021 (UTC)

User Rights

You have been given Contributor Status. --Elerneron (talk) 11:17, 15 July 2021 (UTC)

You have been granted rights as a Trusted Contributor. This will allow you to do a bit more on the site, including moving pages without creating redirects and deleting pages among others. I hope this little powerup is helpful. --Elerneron (talk) 12:54, 6 August 2021 (UTC)

For some reason, your trusted status disappeared. I reapplied it. Let me know if you have any problems with it. --Elerneron (talk) 09:16, 9 August 2021 (UTC)

Contributions

I noticed that you are listing your contribution on your user page. There is nothing wrong with this, but I thought I'd let you know that anyone can see your contribution on your contribution page. If you go to a user's user page, there is a link on the left that says User contributions that has a list of all of your contributions. For your own contributions, it's even easier as there is a link right next to log out at the top right of the page. Just wanted to let you know it was there. Continue as you wish. --Elerneron (talk) 14:15, 23 July 2021 (UTC)

That said, the contributions page includes all the talk pages as well. Listing them like you're doing gives readers an easy way to find your actual story posts. Just saying. --Notsooldpervert (talk) 14:32, 23 July 2021 (UTC)
