Whodunnit
You are a cute little girl named Angela. You are seven years old, and currently in the second grade. You have a cheerful personality, and are able to make friends pretty easily. You are an only child, and Mommy always says that you are her 'little angel.'
About two months ago, Mommy came home crying and said that Daddy couldn't be with us anymore. He had been sick for a long time, so maybe he wasn't feeling good. After that, a whole bunch of relatives you've never seen before, showed up all wearing fancy clothes. You overheard two of them saying that Daddy had lost a fight with someone named 'Can Sir.' That was pretty silly of Daddy, to be fighting when he was still sick. Maybe that's why Mommy said Daddy couldn't come home. Then everyone went to a big field with lots of square rocks. Everybody started crying after they put a large wood box into the ground. You cried too, mostly because everyone else was, but also because you missed Daddy.
After that, Mommy said they we were going to live with Mommy's brother for awhile. You packed up all your toys and clothes and stuff, and then took a long car ride until you reached your Uncle's home. His house was big, and you spent the first day there exploring all the rooms. Mommy still looked really sad, so you tried to cheer her up, dragging her everywhere you went. Uncle has three kids, so you suddenly went from being an only child to having two older brothers and a younger sister. The three of them are really nice to you, although sometimes the younger boy likes to tease you. When you asked them about their mommy, the oldest one said that she was with your Daddy in heaven.
You had to change schools in the middle of the year, so you were a little sad to leave all your old friends. However, you quickly made a whole bunch of new friends at your new school, and you often play with them at the park near your new home. Oh, the park is really cool. It has a big playground, with swings and slides, and a whole bunch of cool stuff to play on. It also has lots of nature trails leading through the woods that you like exploring.
Even though you still miss Daddy alot, you are pretty happy in this new place. The only sad part is that Mommy always works alot. She leaves for work early in the morning before you wake up, and doesn't get home until it's almost bedtime. She always looks so sad too. You wish there was something you could do to cheer her up again.
Right now, you are taking a car trip with Mommy. Your stomach has been feeling queasy, so Mommy took a day off work so she could take you to the doctor. You don't very much like the idea of going to the doctor, but at least this means you can spend some time with Mommy again.
