Current Ring Holder: Natasha (Tash) Morse

The rings power works for you now Tash! You are set back a little by the teacher's assertion. You hadn't intended to ask if you could do the homework here, surrounded by everyone. No, you meant to ask if you could go somewhere else to do it. Did you get the question that wrong? Actually, the more you think about it, this can't be your doing; it must be your brother, with everything he screwed up earlier!

Either way, you begin to blush at the idea. Completely dumbfounded, you are unable to piece together any words to say. Neither can anyone else by the looks of it, everyone sitting in silence. You want to do this with Tom. In fact, you really want to do this with Tom! But do you really want to do it class where everyone is watching?

"Tom," you turn to the one person you still, for some reason, trust the most, "do you think we should do this?" You aren't even aware that you've already determined his answer.

"Yeah. It's for the best. We won't get caught here. And you could use the you-know-what as well."

Oh, the ring! Oh, so he probably wouldn't have suggested staying if you didn't just make him! Never mind, it's probably too late to change his mind now anyway.

"Ok I guess. But Mrs Brans, me and Tom be in charge during the class? And can you leave us as well?"

As soon as you say that, the bell rings. Great, end of Registration, start of Interaction Period. This is really happening then?! Mrs Brans stands up and walks towards the door.

"That's fine. Anyone who is doing the homework in their own time over the weekend is free to go down and see Mr Wood for some Enterprise work. Everyone staying here, Thomas and Natasha are in charge so be on your best behaviour! I will be back in 90 minutes."

A number of kids starting getting up to leave. Whether this is just too much too fast for them, or whether Business seems more attractive, your not too sure. Along with them is your friend, Marcel.

"You're not going to stay?" Tom asks, feeling rejected by his best friend. He looks like he's pleading the poor boy! Marcel is a couple of years younger than you, but he's been best friends with your brother and, by rule of twin, with you as well for as long as you can remember. You actually think he kind of cute; you probably wouldn't mind catching a glimpse of him if you had the chance. You consider making him stay - you know, for the support - and pretty much do so by accident anyway.

"Don't you want to stay with us?" You ask fairly naively.

"Yeah I do, but..." He has a very soft voice, a little higher than your brothers. Whereas Tom started breaking a few months ago, his isn't even close to that. Marcel is unable to finish his excuse. He actually has no idea why he wants to stay, or why he wanted to leave. All you know is that, thanks to your question, he does want to be here and there's nothing he can do to change it. You smile, trying to hide the slight grin, as he bows his head in defeat.

That's when you notice Katie stood next to you. She's elven, and about half a foot shorter than you. Her thin brown hair only goes just past her shoulders. She joined the school just a couple of months ago, and you were given the task of 'buddying' her. She's shy, and often quiet, but she's fun to be with, and definitely isn't a chore to help around the school.

"Tash I don't know what I should do." She speaks in a very gentle tone. "I know I have to do the homework, and it would probably be better to do it with you. It just feels kind of weird though."

"Hey," you put a hand on her shoulder, "you're ok with doing this here aren't you?" You know full well what her answer is. She nods anyway. "Well we can do it together. That sound ok?"

"Sure." She smiles at you, before sitting at one of the desks again.

The last person to leave is Mrs Brans, and she locks the door behind her. Good. At least that means no one can walk in on you by accident. It unlocks easily from the inside, so if there is an emergency you can still get out. Left standing or sitting around the room are the four of you (you and Tom, his best friend Marcel and your protege Katie), and just five others. Nine of you; that's not that bad of a turnout all things considered! At least Tom had the wit about him earlier to make sure no one talks about any of this!

So, you scan the room to see who you're working with. You've got the cute little (little being the key word!) year-seven kid sat in the corner; Matthew, you think his name was. He's currently sat playing a game on his phone, likely oblivious to what's going on around him. You wander if he even stayed out of choice, or out of ignorance to what was being 'offered'. A few seats on from him, two twelve-year-old girls are sat talking, occasionally giggling. You know them both, Ella and Eve. They are by no means bullies, but when together they both have a mischievous side. Maybe the taboo nature of all of this is is the reason for them staying?

In the middle of the room is your uncle, James. You hadn't even noticed he had stayed until now! He's thirteen, and he's pretty good looking. He's joined in some of your games in the past, so there's little need to feel embarrassed about being naked around a hot guy; he's seen you plenty of times before as it is. And that just leaves...your perfect nightmare! Why did Craig have to stay?! You watch him leaning against the wall, straing at you with a horrible grin. He makes it his life work to make everything he does a misery for the both of you. It's highly unlikely this morning is any different! Although, now you have this new power, maybe y could turn the tide on him for a change?

Well, you're in charge, so what do you do first?
