Current Ring Holder: Thomas (Tom) Morse

"Come on let's go!" Tash begins walking towards the doors. You, however, don't move. "Tom? Tom! What're you doing!"

"Do you realise what just happened?" You ask nonchalantly.

"Yes..." She looks at him curiously. She hadn't actually been paying attention at all. "You asked Principle Rash if he could let us off from detention. He said yes." The explanation is recited, monotonously, just like a four year old.

"Exactly! He never changes his mind!"

"But..." Tash has a little more life in her voice. She stands there thinking. A minute ago she was thinking about nothing more than just getting to class. What compelled her to answer her brother's question, let alone explain an event she barely...

"Are you just going to stand there all day?" You have no idea what you've just asked! "Let's go before we get into more trouble."

"I'm just going to stand here today. I've got something to think about."

"Come on!"

You have to drag her there, but eventually arrive at your Hydra classroom in the House Wing. After apologising profusely to Mrs Brans you take the two remaining seats right at the front.

"What the heck was that?!" You ask your sister in a whisper.

"What was what?"

"I'm just going to stand here today. I've got something to think about." You mock her earlier words in a child-like, demeaning tone.

"I don't know!" She's beginning to get a little defensive, drawing attention to the both of you. "You ask me if I was going to do that. I kinda just thought I should."

"Natasha! What was I just talking about?"

She swallows hard, realising neither of you were paying the slightest bit of attention. You may have escaped the d tension thanks to some unexplained force, but you really can't afford to get in trouble again!

The teacher sighs. "We're talking about communication. How can we learn to be better communicators. How can we..."

"Maybe..." When Mrs Brans returns focus to the whole room, you take the further opportunity to suss this out together; you need to find out what the hell is going on! Tash looks at you, as if waiting for you to continue. "...well, I asked Principle Rash to let us off detention and he did! It's only been happening today, since we got to school. Could it be to do with this?" You slide the ring off your finger and show it to your twin. She looks interested, curious, like she wants to know more. In honesty to yourself, you're exactly the same.

"We need to test it!" She decides authoritatively. "Let me try, please!"

"Thomas!" Uh oh. What was Mrs Brans just talking about?! "If you could ask any person any question, what would you ask?"

Amazing, now's your perfect chance to:

Author's Note: After deliberation, I am attempting to write this in Second Peson instead of Third, from this page onwards, telling from the point of view of the person who is currently holding the ring. This means two things:

1. Please leave feedback in the talk pages about whether you think this works

2. It will be necessary to make note of who is currently holding the ring, as the story will always be told from that persons point of view. This will be noted at the top of each page.
