Ok, so, I was actually envisioning something a LOT crazier when I first drew out possible scenarios for young Lexi given the other character personalities so far, the history, and the sequence of set events that will happen every route. Turns out the characters are a little less volatile in practice than I had imagined when I started down this route. (Yay once again for my strong characterization method! Unexpected things happen when you don't force the characters down a desired plot line.) Jemini (talk) 11:48, 13 April 2018 (CEST)

I'm feeling like the sex and age change also affected Xander's mentality. Like he was better at anticipating what would happen and manipulate others when he was an adult male. Perhaps it's just my imagination, but maybe even with his improved stats having the brain of a little girl makes him behave like one more than he realizes? --Tod Naturlich (talk) 16:51, 13 April 2018 (CEST)

Huh... yeah. In my mind, it was mostly because "she" was in a bit of a panic at having all the rules suddenly turned on their head with Charity's unexpected 180 change in her attitude, but Elerneron HAS already established that even maxed out values are relative. Also, a 10-year-old with a 130 IQ is nowhere near the same level of intelligence as a 25-year-old with a 130 IQ. Lexi here has maxed stats, which means 200 IQ, but the way that stat is interpreted can still vary greatly with age. Also, early puberty is the 2nd largest period of brain growth in a person's life, second only to infancy.
15-year-old Xander was at the end of the early puberty stage and into the late puberty stage, the part where all the major growth is done and it's all just trying to settle in and establish a new normal. 10-year-old Lexi here would be at the early to mid portion of early puberty due to having a 200 fertility making her hit puberty at 8, so even without the maxed mental stats she would still be a bit advanced, but it's not going to be anything like his/her 15-year-old version. (Oh, right, and let's not forget about the mental and emotional instability associated with early puberty. That's probably also part of why Lexi is getting flustered a lot more easily)
(This mechanic would probably not reduce Xander's intelligence below his original intelligence, but the boosted stats are probably giving much less of an assist due to the reduced age.) Jemini (talk) 17:07, 13 April 2018 (CEST)
