Well, taking a quick side-trip with an old-friend of a story like this one is sometimes a refreshing break from a project that's starting to seem more like work than fun. I still very much want to finish those projects though, so I do need to keep this compartmentalized as just a fun little side thing. At any rate, after so long away from this the creative energy was glad and eager to come out, so I just got on a bit of a tear and couldn't stop at just one entry. (I actually had plans to fill both options at once, but then the writing rampage had subsided a little by the time I got to the end of the second one.)
