One thing to keep in mind is there have been hints the Mr. Gardner is more than just a pedo. He has shown interest in some of the adult women, either because they share his perverted nature, Ms. Varano, the Dr., or because they reflected another taboo or act of corruption, some of the attractive wives around town, his sister as an adult... However I currently don't see Mr. Gardner being in any position to make that type of demand on her, as there is nothing in the rules that requires a teacher to act on accusations, and no
proof that Mrs. Carmichael ignored the accusations out of any I'll intent, she can simply state that without any corroborating evidence, it was the girls word against the boys, and in the town's makeup a boy or man's word is worth more than a girl or woman's.

If we're going to "punish" the girls by having them perform "wifely duties", they might ask what that is. That's where Mrs. Carmichael comes in.

Mary wouldn't have been hurt if Mrs. Carmichael told MC about the boys bullying Diya Styles (keep it vague, in case we didn't marry Diya). You see, Mary told Mrs. Carmichael about the bullying, but she didn't do anything, most likely because Diya is the daughter of a whore. Because Mrs. Carmichael ignored Mary's pleas for help, Mary took matters into her own hands, and here's where we are now.

"Mrs. Carmichael, it is your fault that my wife is in the condition she is in now. I'll give you 2 choices, you and I can show these four girls what 'wifely duties' are, and you will surrender your daughter to me. Or, you can choose to work in the brothel, as well as keep your day job"

IDK, I was just trying to come up with a punishment for her that would fit into what the MC is after. Mrs. Carmichael's tit are too big for MC, so he doesn't want to screw her, what he's really after is her daughter Laura. --MrPib (talk) 20:51, 2 March 2020 (CET)
