Actually, the original plan for the story was that the point of view of John would be only one of many, and we could indeed follow other characters. Right now that's pretty much abandoned, since I'm overwhelmed enough with just this one character. Right now I'm trying to tie loose ends on this first week so I can open the options for the first quarter. There we should be able to see the consequences of many choices made here. If you want to help me get faster there, pick a path that has no conclusion and request one.
