Life Hacks/Strike up a conversation with Brittany
“So, Brittany, you never did answer my question.”
“Huh?” Your motherly older sister’s confused response says she really did completely space out on that.
“I asked you how you’ve been a little bit ago, I never got an answer.”
“Oh!” She responds, “Sorry about that Xander. I… I think I may be more messed up hearing about what happened than you are from going through it. Really though, I just can’t believe that YOU of all people stood up to a cop like that.”
“What’s that supposed to mean?” You ask.
“Well…” she pauses, “it’s just that… I never really understood it. You could probably do anything, but you are such a big teddy bear that people at school used to bully you even though you were… I mean… built like THAT! You could have probably ripped any one of them in half, but they bullied you anyway because you don’t stick up for yourself.”
No, it is more like the old you was simply not strong enough to fight back. A teddy bear? Hardly. You were seething every time those bullies would come after you and only sat there and took it because you WEREN’T strong enough to fight back. Guess this is how her memories interpreted it though thanks to the modifications from the hack.
“Ehh… yeah… well...” You him and haw. What can you really say? You can’t tell her the truth of what it was that changed.
“I’m just impressed is all,” Brittany says, “I leave for college and all of a sudden my little bro is growing up!”
“Ehh… yeah...” you agree, “I guess necessity forced me to.”
“I bet Charity hates it.” She says, “how are things between you anyway?”
“Eh, bad as ever,” you say.
“Have you put her in her place yet?”
“Well...”
“You haven’t huh?” she says, “you know you really shouldn’t let her treat you the way she does, just show her some of that same back-bone you seem to have spontaneously grown over Roni.”
You certainly grew some kind of bone over Roni when she flashed you her bare pussy earlier, that’s for sure.
“Yeah...”
“So,” Brittany says, flipping over the sandwich and putting it on a plate, “Roni said something about how they wanted you in the police force, what’s that all about?”
“Well, when they found out I was 15, they gave me their card and started asking if I wanted to join the junior police academy, basically like the junior ROTC program for police officers instead of the military.”
“Oh!?” She responds. “So, are you going to do it?”
“I don’t know yet,” you tell her.
“Well, I think you should,” she says, “it might be a good way to nurture this back-bone you’ve suddenly developed.”
“Ehh… well...”
