Ouch! Well, that's not really anything of a surprise. You've always known your mom seems to value her work more than her family, but it's somehow extra painful to see it written out plainly in text like that by an impartial omniscient system.
You scroll down through a few parts of her character bio, until you get to the part about her views on sexuality. In this section, you read that apparently she had engaged in sex while young and ignorant and felt burdened by it, and wants a different life for her children and therefore disallows sexual experimentation among her children. It also mentions that she is not very aware of typical child and teen-age behaviors and modern societal trends on the subject of youths and sex.
So, it does indeed look like nothing at all has changed about your family and your mom's uptight views on sex.
