Life Hacks/Yeah, why not? Go to the station.
“Sure, I think I’ll do just that,” you say in a pleasant tone.
“That’s great!” She says. “I’m gonna have my hands a little full for a bit though, so… let’s see… somewhere between an hour from now and the end of my shift would be best.”
“When does your shift end?” You ask.
“3 o’clock, so just shy of 2 and a half hours from now.”
“Sounds good,” you say.
“Well, whenever you arrive, just tell them you’re looking for me.”
“Sure thing.”
“Well, I gotta get back to… ehhh… yeah. You get it.”
“Hehe, well… don’t go beating his face in in outrage or anything. You got your job to worry about.”
“Ha! I’ll try my best. Well, see ya’ when you get here.”
“Yeah...” -click- and with that, the call ends. That was kind of weird. She seemed a little on the appropriately stiff side when you met her at the park, but just there she seemed to talk more and more like… well… like she knew you personally the longer the conversation went on. Yeah, definitely weird.
At any rate, somewhere between an hour and two and a half hours. You know where the police station is in town, at a brisk walk it would take the old you about 45 minutes to get there. For the new you, you imagine you could easily get there a lot faster. Also, now that you have the “item buy” module, you can get yourself a full driver’s license. You are somewhat certain you could also just as easily get Brittany to ride with you for this. That would shorten transit time down to 10-15 minutes. In other words, you have your options for how to kill time.
What will you do?
- Take a leisurely stroll to the station
- Kill some time on your computer
- Head up to your room and experiment with your new modules
- Hang with your family for an hour or so
