"I have a message I need you to deliver to your father."

She slipped off the table and to her feet, turning around to jot down a small note.

"R-Really? Can't one of the butlers do it?" Larissa said, the thought of traveling through the mansion as she is any more filling her with dread.

"Are you questioning your mother?"

"N-No! Not at all. It's just-"

"Good," Felice interrupted. Sliding the note in an envelope she approached her daughter, trying desperately to keep from smiling. "Now take this directly to your father posthaste, no detours. I believe he should be in the drawing room on the first floor. Oh, and hold still for a moment."

Raising her daughter's arms Larissa could only watch in horror as her mother ripped her towel right off her body.

"M-Mother!"

"Relax, I'm just redoing it for you."

Sure enough she reached around and re-wrapped the towel around Larissa's small frame. Tucking it together at her she had her daughter lower her arms tightly against her sides and handed her the envelope.

"Now I know it's late but remember, walk like a proper lady. That means chin up, back straight, and no fidgeting. Got it?"

"Yes Mother..."

"Good. Now, I'm going downstairs to take a bath and head to bed, so give me a goodnight kiss."

Larissa obliged and puckered her lips, raising to her tiptoes to give her mother a peck on the lips. Felice likewise leaned down and kissed her daughter, letting it linger for just a moment longer than would seem appropriate to an outsider. But she couldn't help herself. Seeing her sweet baby girl damp from the bath and all but naked, looking shy and embarrassed made her would to hold her, kiss her, and explore every inch of her pale little body. Well, more than she already did, that is.

But alas, that was not for tonight. Breaking the kiss Felice pulled back and gave a much briefer kiss to her forehead, having to push up the towel wrapped around her hair.

"Goodnight sweetie."

With that she opened the door and ushered the barely dressed girl out from the relative privacy of the study. She let out a breath listening to the sound of her retreating footfalls, followed swiftly by a fit of suppressed laughter.

Oh Larissa, she thought. If only you knew what was written on the unassuming piece of paper, and that it was not only unrelated to why I called you, but I only wrote it after seeing your... "predicament."

She reached for the door once more before pausing, arm outstretched.

Might as well have a little fun myself.

With a practiced hop and a shimmy of her shoulders the strapless dress she wore slid from her figure and pooled at her feet, leaving the wealthy noblewoman without a stitch of clothing. Cracking open the door she took a quick glace around before strutting from the study, wondering how many servants would see her before she makes it to the bathroom.

What next?
