"Really?", asked Lori, somewhat confused.
"Yeah. I read up on nudism a lot before I decided to be one. It makes sense if you think about it. The less clothing you wear, the more sun you get, the faster you burn."
"So I should be using it too?"
"Definitely. It's especially important when you don't have a tan yet, look." Sally pointed to Lori's pale chest.
Lori stepped back and took stock of herself. It was true, her arms and lower legs were tanned, but everything normally covered by her usual shorts and t-shirt was rather pale. "Wow, I never noticed that. It's a good thing you know so much about nudism."
Sally's lighter complexion made her own tan lines less obvious, but she definitely had them too. "Yeah... well anyway, we better go home and put sunblock on. I don't want either of us to get burned."
"You'll be back though, right?", interjected Rick.
Sally would have really preferred if she could disappear forever, or have everyone forget this happened, but didn't see any way out. "Yeah, of course. You can wait for us here if you want."
"Wouldn't miss it.", he said with a grin.
"OK, I'll be right back.", said Lori.
Sally turned to go as well. What a mess, she thought. But first thing's first. She had to get back home without attracting any more attention. It was still early, but the town would definitely be waking up soon. In fact, Sally had a moment of panic when she realized she hadn't been paying attention to her surroundings at all as the three talked. Maybe she'd already been seen.
But there was nothing she could do about that, and there didn't seem to be anyone looking right then, so she quickly made for one of the back alleys that ran through the neighborhood. This worked well, and it looked like she would make it inside without anyone seeing her, right up until she entered her own back yard.
"And just what are you doing out here naked?" It was her father.
For once, Sally decided she was in deep enough already and admitted the truth. "I forgot."
Ryan just laughed. "Oh to be so carefree."
Sally didn't feel "care free" at all.
He continued. "But you better work on that, I don't think the neighbors will be so happy to see your cute little butt as I am."
Sally blushed, but she couldn't agree more. "I know, dad. I'm just not used to it yet."
As Ryan watched said cute butt vanish into the house, he wondered if he'd made a mistake letting this go so far. He figured the back yard was probably a lost cause, that could be clothing optional. But he'd have to do something about making sure she didn't wander beyond that without remembering to get dressed or this could really get out of hand. Of course part of him loved the idea. Wouldn't it be great if she could just be a naked all the time? But that was crazy, and he knew it.
Still, he felt a twinge of disappointment when she came back out fully dressed and looking a bit somber. "Don't worry about it too much, honey. I just want you to be happy, as long as you can do it without freaking out the neighbors."
"Thanks, dad." She gave him a hug and went on her way. It was nice that at least one person supported her new lifestyle without getting carried away. Now she just had to undo the mess with Lori... somehow.
Sally had really hoped that when Lori went back home to get sunblock someone might set her straight, but she had no such luck. When she returned to the park she found the other two waiting, with Lori still naked.
"Oh. You got dressed.", said Rick.
"Uh, yeah... I couldn't find any sunblock, so I just had to put clothes on instead."
"Oh no, that's a shame.", said Lori. "Want me to run back and get some from my house?"
"N-No, that's OK. Nudists don't have to be naked all the time.", Sally justified, trying to sound confident.
"Well, anyway, we're still gonna have a nudist club though, right?", asked Rick.
"Yeah.", agreed Sally. Despite her recent embarrassment, she still kind of liked the idea. If only she could figure out how to explain to Lori that nudists didn't really walk around naked in town, without admitting her own slip-up.
"Right, so what's the next step then?"
But before Sally could think what to say, Lori answer instead.
