"Say, how often does Mr. Grandville have the Marlow kid in there?" You ask Ms. Varano, "I think that this is probably something I should know since these sorts of punishments are my job after all."
"Oh! Yes!" the still very flustered secretary responds. "Well, uhh... he does have Mr. Marlow in there a lot, he seems to have him in there multiple times a day, every lunch, he keeps him in for the entirety of what would be his gym class normally, and a few other odd times throughout the day. I think he may be taking out his aggression at how he brought his daughter down and made it so that she had to be defiled with the punishment you are giving her."
There is a somewhat disturbing grin on her face when she says that last line. Also, you certainly heard the words "I think" coming out of her mouth quite a bit there. Ms. Varano is usually of a rather detail-oriented personality, not the type to make speculations that you know of. Well, it was perfectly understandable with what this information could imply. With how much this town's culture hates homosexuality, the implication Mr. Grandville may be going after young Mr. Mathew so much because he enjoys doing it with young boys is simply something she doesn't want to even entertain the possibility of. As such, anger is a far better excuse.
Now then, how do you react to this information?
