You got involved with the Decon
As you talked about the program with Ms. Varano, one of the more interesting things that came up were about how the decon seems to have had a significant hand in the direction of the program. You never really liked the religious aspect of the town, and as such, you did not have much love for the church either, but if the decon was an influential figure in the program you felt you should probably go to size him up. As you could probably have predicted, this experience wound up shedding a lot of light on the subject of how such an absurd program got implemented in the first place.
