You feel like making everyone ignorant to sex making babies is something you might like to do anyway, and maybe changing the culture around sex so that people around here have a more open view like Trish would be great too. She was encouraging you to straight up fuck all her kids without you having to do a single thing with the hack to mess with her. You can only imagine what you might be able to get away with doing if the whole town thought the same way she does.
But, even if you do all that, will it be enough to fix Siobhan's hang-ups about all this? You decide to start by opening up her profile and looking at her personality. You see some notes about her psyche having a hard time managing the competing sex-related messaging she has received from her parents Vs. her sister, and how she really wants to try having sex but is afraid of being called a slut.
It also seems she's had her eye on you specifically as her preferred sexual partner.
Well, that certainly is interesting. You wonder if you might have wound up getting to sleep with Siobhan even if Loki had never given you the duck. Maybe not. She does seem to have a hard time with all this.
The major issue though seems to be that she's afraid people will call her a slut if they find out she has had sex, and especially getting pregnant since her head is filled with a lot of negative messaging on that one.
You're about to change the culture and the local sex knowledge in a way that would specifically remove those two fears as an issue, but you wonder if doing that will really settle Siobhan's nerves on the issue considering her strict upbringing on the subject is accredited as being one of the sources for her nervousness.
Well, since you're going to change these things on a more broad scale anyway, you decide to just straight up remove her fear of getting pregnant or people finding out she's had sex.
With that settled, you go about changing the other two. First, the simpler of the two. You select the "Ignorance" cheat and set it to making everyone in town ignorant to the fact that sex makes babies. This totals up to 4000 points. Pretty heavy price, but you've got a ton anyway, and seem to be constantly earning more. While you are at it, you also buy a cheat targeting yourself to make your knowledge in regards to sex and reproduction "masterful," mostly because you don't know exactly how this ignorance cheat will affect you. It only costs 50 points to buy it for a single target anyway, so you figure you might as well.
Finally, for the culture in the area, you decide to simply copy-paste Trish's views on sexuality to the entire town. Simple enough. Upon doing this, the system gives you a prompt.
You have selected to model the culture of the region to reflect the views of an individual as the norm. The system will begin making permutations and adjustments to the culture based upon this individual's views.
So, the system is adding random variance per household or something? Well, guess that does sort of make sense.
Adjustments complete. The following changes have been made to the local culture under the subject of child-upbringing and sexuality.
Clothing standard: Nudity taboo has become outdoor and public nudity taboo, indoor private residence clothing optional. Remaining clothed is the norm, but it is not frowned upon to expose genitals or be fully nude in front of others indoors in a private residence.
Child sex taboo has become adult-child sexual interaction taboo. Those over the age of 18 may not interact sexually with minors under age 15. Those between the ages of 15 and 18 may interact sexually with those at either end, but it is discouraged for them to interact with those too much younger than they are. Children close in age are permitted to interact sexually without restriction.
Child sexualization taboo has become free child sexuality. Children are permitted to explore their sexuality among their peers, and sexual exploration among children should not be discouraged. Siblings are considered especially acceptable as early sexual partners for each other.
Private sex interactions has become private sex interactions open to children. While people are still encouraged to have their sexual interactions in the privacy of the bedroom, it is considered acceptable while teaching children to allow them to witness acts of sex, especially if it is between two other children. It is also considered acceptable for an adult to watch children having sex and make sure things are being done correctly, and that no one is forcing anyone else.
Youth pregnancy disfavor has become youth pregnancy support. Minors who become pregnant are celebrated and appreciated by their parents and given full support. Any babies born to an under-age female will be readily adopted by the girl's parents if the girl is unable to support the child herself.
New value entered. Importance of child sexual enjoyment. It is of paramount importance that children develop a positive impression of sex. This importance is great enough that extensive measures must be taken to avoid a child developing negative impressions of sex, up to and including demonstrating sex in a positive way in order to alleviate misgivings after a bad sexual experience, or pretending to like the experience if being raped in front of a child, or even agreeing to help a rapist have sex with their child under the condition that the rapist avoid traumatizing the child in the process and helping out by giving the child the proper assurances.
So, these are Trish's views on sexuality, huh? It's somehow less open than you imagined it to be, but that's probably because she wound up straight up encouraging you to have sex with her 5 and 8 year old daughters. But, now that you start to think about it, she didn't exactly give you permission before the fact. It was the case with both Danica and Ellie that you got your dick inside them while she wasn't looking for one reason or another, and then she just went along and encouraged it after the fact. Maybe she'd have been a little more up-tight about it if you'd been asking for permission rather than just barreling your way through on it.
A lot of it must be that final point about encouraging child enjoyment of sex. You imagine that, even with these values, a lot of other parents might not be quite as permissive or forgiving of you fucking their kids as Trish is. That said, you have got the Age Pass cheat, that should eliminate any hang-ups they have about your age difference. They should let you have sex with kids of any age as though you were one of them.
The most significant point though is that none of these sexual allowances seem to permit for public sex. All of it is confined to the privacy of one's home.
The one matter of interest though is what this is going to mean for your own family. Charity already got in huge trouble for sexually experimenting with all your younger siblings. Will that all be erased by the system now? Or will your mother be considered some kind of crazy up-tight person who squashes her children's sexual exploration despite it being considered something acceptable by the public culture? Is your mom now the eccentric instead of Trish?
