Life Hacks/Yng-Lexi/Just let Charity explain it, let her act like the big sister
Angel gives Charity a bit of a blank look, obviously indicating that she indeed does not know what a period is. “Heh, great.” Charity groans a bit inwardly. “How about you Lexi?” She asks, turning to you.
Huh? Why is she asking you all of a sudden? Also, doesn’t she remember? You were right there with her when mom explained it after Charity had her first period. Maybe she didn’t remember? Or maybe your age regression and gender change made her interpret something weird. That was four years ago, and you are 10 now. If she remembers you as having been a 6 year old at the time then maybe she might think you don’t remember. Charity gives you a look that suggests she has taken your momentary surprise as meaning that you don’t know anything about periods either.
“Well, you should probably pay attention too then,” she says to you. “You and Angel are twins, so you are probably going to have your period too pretty soon here.” You don’t even have to pretend as a surprised and childishly shocked look raises to your face on its own. You had actually not considered that. Since you are a girl now, of course you would probably start having periods. You shift a bit uncomfortably at that thought and unconsciously find yourself coming in closer to where Charity is taking care of Angel on the toilet.
“Anyway,” Charity continues, “Your period is… well… after a girl gets to be about the age you two are, you start bleeding from between your legs like this.”
“What!? Why!?” Angel demands in an angry tone.
“Well… it’s” Charity looks over at you like she’s worried about something, making you wonder about what’s going through her mind exactly. It’s like she’s conflicted about something. “Well, that’s just what your body does.” Charity tells her. “Don’t worry, it will stop after a day or so, but you’re gonna start bleeding again after another couple of weeks.”
The pieces are starting to fit together a little. Is she worried about you? After what you said to her and after what she caught you doing with Bastian, maybe she’s worried that if she talks about sex then you might actually try it. Her lacking explanation seems to be having a bad effect on Angel though, she’s already in tears and is looking even more afraid to hear that this is going to keep happening to her.
What will you do?
- Take over the explanation in a way that will probably make Charity worry more
- Take over the explanation in a way that will assure Charity she's worrying about nothing
- Remain quiet, see if Charity changes her tune due to Angel's reaction
- Act scared as well, add some fuel to the fire
