General information

According to popular Outskirts lore Leprechauns are water and luck spirits that tend to live in underground dwellings near rivers and springs, or in the basements of buildings near wells.

Leprechauns are known for spreading good luck to their friendly neighbors and have a love for fixing shoes. Devoted cobblers, a Leprechaun can't resist the temptation to restore a pair of worn shoes.

Like all of their cousins, they are also very mischievous, enjoying a good joke. Unlike most other Fey,their jokes almost never result in harm and are seen by most sentient races as good humor.

Unknown to all but their closest allies and the most discerning scholars, Leprechauns are actually the guardians of the vast wealth of the Fey Courts. The wealth is scattered across the Outskirts, in hidden troves (Only the Leprechauns and the Fairy Queen know the locations of these troves.) If captured, in order to distract their captors from their true nature, a Leprechaun will grant them three wishes for the Leprechauns freedom, which are almost always honored as intended by the wishing individual.

Leprechauns dislike hurtful or unfriendly people and the overly selfish or greedy, if a Leprechaun were to be forced to grant wishes to anyone of the above, the wishes will always end badly.

Leprechauns tend to be among the most emotionally stable of the fey races, having the emotional maturity of their equivalent in human years. Except when offended or angered in which case they have been known to throw tantrums that could rival a small child.

Racial Features

Leprechauns vary in size starting around one foot and up to three feet in height, however like all their kin, they can temporarily increase their size to up to five feet, in order to better interact with larger races, if deemed necessary.

They have eye and skin coloration similar to humans, however their hair is always red.

Lifespan

Leprechauns age at the normal human rate until they turn twenty, at which time they stop aging. They have no maximum life span, though they can die by other means.

Immunities and weakness

Leprechauns are immune to the natural elements and are resistant to all forms of magical elemental injury. They can heal from almost any physical wound except for injuries caused by cold-iron.

Lamptons

Due to their lifespan and unpredictable nature Leprechauns are not permitted to be Students or Faculty or staff at Lamptons.
