I hope that satisfies? --Elerneron (talk) 13:32, 8 April 2018 (CEST)
... Huhh... I was with you until time started again. Dialogue and presentation need some serious work. I can see the foundations of how it might work though. (I have to say, as a deist, I can go there beings I do believe the Christian god can't be the only one. However, looking at it in the scope of other contemporary religions, I give him a bit more respect than this view does.) Jemini (talk) 14:29, 8 April 2018 (CEST)
So it's the reaction of the Holiday's that is problematic to you . . . or something else? I went for an "in shock" kind of reaction as opposed to an OMG!!!! type of reaction because I felt it would be more authentic. OMG! usually occurs when it's still something you can process. Anything beyond that, and you get a shutdown . . . or at least that was the thought behind the dialog. --Elerneron (talk) 15:10, 9 April 2018 (CEST)
No, really it's less of that and more the fact that they seemed to accept this story that went completely against their religious upbringing that would be considered complete blasphemy so easily after hearing such a flimsy story. I feel either Xander's story and presentation needs to be a lot better, or the Holiday kids need to completely reject this story (while possibly accepting that still something incredible has happened. Maybe they think Xander got possessed by something that's messing with him?) Jemini (talk) 17:04, 9 April 2018 (CEST)
Part of the active cheats that Xander has is 100% trust and 100% submissiveness from everyone. I'm sure Xander could tell people that he's actually a 7' tall frog and people would try and believe him. which does kind of make this line a bit boring --Quiller (talk) 17:47, 9 April 2018 (CEST)
Yeah, now that you mention it. Well, that being the case, it could be worked out by having Xander be a bit more amazed at them believing it so easily. That said, yeah, it does make things kinda boring. A little more internal turmoil on Xander's part with him expecting them not to believe him and then being surprised when they do would go a little way toward mitigating that, and I'm afraid that's the best that can be done on this route. (This is why I got really bored of writing for the routes where the relationship stats were maxed. Here I've already gone and forgotten about how stifling it was that everything comes so easy for Xander on this route.) Jemini (talk) 20:21, 9 April 2018 (CEST)
