I ask that if you go with the path that skips the story of how she saw her dad's penis, that at some point you return to it. Oh yes, don't worry, I did not miss the significance of the part where she talks about how she saw her dad's penis. I definitely plan for all routes to have it come up at some point during the discussion, I just felt that it was something that broke the momentum of the sex part of the scene so the mother would hold off on talking about it on most routes since it can always be asked about later.
