Something to keep in mind on this route that might be more important than other routes is using the bathroom. I'm sure there's an outhouse or something if they have to poop, but especially if they are this far out there is likely no place but the woods to pee, and I doubt Emma will want to go out alone at night for that considering both how scared she gets and also the fact she doesn't have a flashlight. Priority one today is finding a flashlight for her so you don't have to keep escorting her around. Too bad they're all claimed. ;D She seems to have remarkably low body shame. There's no way any of my female relatives would have stripped down in front of me at her age, and most of them are older than me, not younger. If she continues to sleep in your bag, zip yours together with hers to make one big one. Unless they are different sizes. Oh well, you're stuck with the two of you in one bag. Hate to burst your bubble there, but changing to swim wear would be done when it's light out, so she's not going to have a need to get in so close to you.
