Can Xander plan to change Billy, then realize "he" is already a girl, change his mind and go after the mom, and change the infant's gender while he's got the duck?
I can see a way for events to unfold in that direction, but I don't see him thinking to change the infant's gender at this point in the sequence of events. He could realize it after he goes for the mom. Jemini (talk) 22:38, 16 December 2018 (CET)
