Oh, what the hell? You've been honest to this point, and it has worked out for you. "My full name is Hanna von Albertini…" you say, almost whispering.

"That's not what I asked…" Robert begins his sentence loud and angry, but he lowers his voice significantly towards the end of the sentence. The look on his face tells you exactly that he has heard of that name. He still appears angry, almost furious, but he doesn't look like yelling. Instead, he just leans close to your face. He's so close to you that you can smell his breath. "Oh, now you've done it. You should know that lying about a noble upbringing is a grave and a shameful offense."

"I'm serious…" you say.

"No, Hanna. This interrogation is over. You're going to get what you deserve."

"W-wait, I beg you!" You suddenly remember something crucial. You may have handed over the letter and even your diary, but there is still something with you that can help you escape whatever he is planning for you. "I can prove it!"

"Oh, really? It can't be a birthmark, because I've seen you naked."

"No, it's a ring! Search my pocket! It should be there!"

Without hesitation, he grabs your tiny waist, and presses them against your clothes until he finds something hard in one of your few pockets. He reaches inside and takes out the golden, royal signet, complete with ornate, pink diamonds. He holds the tiny family heirloom in his hands, surprised by it. "Well I'll be damned… This certainly does not look like something an ordinary person would be able to hold…"

"Please, believe me…"

"I have no ways of confirming the validity of this ring but you're spared from your punishment for now." Then, he sighs, and puts the ring back into your pocket. "So, let's go through this all. This Leon claimed to be with Chad, and as a proof he offered information about you, and a letter, but you have no such letter as a proof. You claim, that he claimed, that something has happened to Chad, but I haven't heard of such news. And then there is the little issue of this ring. You see, just because you have it, doesn't mean you're being honest. You could've stolen it. Leon could've also given it to you. You seem honest, but I'm sorry to say, your story doesn't seem to be the most watertight one. You're all talk and no evidence."

Well, this was to be expected. Even if you're honest, you can't prove anything you've said, and he just clearly demonstrated it to you. It's a shame. You nod, slowly.

"Let's move forward. Did he tell you what has happened to Chad?"

"Y-yes, he is being chased…"

"By who?"

"He suspects Chaos…"

His forehead wrinkles as his eyes thin. He stays silent, waiting for you to continue. It really doesn't look like he believes you at all. Then, suddenly, he stands up and lays his hand on your jaw, grabbing it and staring into your eyes. "I swear to the gods, if you're lying…"
