You are going about placing your signature all wrong. The signature system is built into the wiki system. You do not need to type it out. Just place three or four tilde ~ symbols in a row...as the instructions for Request Contributor Status stated. Alternately you can use the third button from the left in the edit UI to put the signature text in for you (handy if you're on a phone). --Elerneron (talk) 02:04, 1 August 2021 (UTC)
